EVENT INFO

WELCOME!

We’re excited for this year’s event and we know you are excited too!  This year, we will be starting and finishing at Cherry Street Park. 115 E Cherry Street in Grantsville, Utah. Some have asked why all the way out west again?  Well, it's simple, really.  With the new construction on the corridor in Davis County, combined with Antelope Island State Park no longer allowing events of any kind to be held on the causeway or Island, the roads out west are safer, the hills are great, the people of Grantsville are amazing to work with!

Event Date: Saturday, Aug 27th, 2022

Event Distances

- 100 miles

- Metric Century (62 miles)

The Metric Century and 30-mile ride is a nice South/North out-and-back course along the old Mormon Road.  These roads are typically low in traffic.  Detailed maps can be found on the “route maps” page. There will a an aid station at approximately 15 mile mark which is also the turnaround point for the 30 mile ride.

ROUTE MAPS

Feed Stations

The Century and Metric Century will have Feed Stations every 15-20 miles, including at the top of Johnson Pass.  The 30 mile ride will have a feed zone at the turn-around point. These feed stations will include, water, Gatorade Endurance Nutrition electrolyte drinks, Coke, energy bars, treats, PB & J "Uncrustables" sandwiches.

Bike Support

We will have moto-support and support trucks roaming along the route. We will have bike support for minor bike technical issues (flats, gears, etc). However, covering 90+ miles, it may take a while for our vehicles to get to you.  We encourage you to bring basic cycling necessities (pump, tire, patch kit, etc) a cell phone with you and to contact our support staff should you need assistance.  There will also be a sag-vehicle following the last group or person on the course.

Teams

This event is a non-timed, touring event.  If you are a team looking for an event to prepare for a future race, we welcome you! Feel free to bring your team vehicle and support crew.  However, keep in mind, our permits and future of this and other events require you obey all traffic rules as they pertain to cycling, and each of your members must be registered for the event.
